Downtempo Guitar - Jazz Flavoured Lines

Downtempo Guitar brings a flexible collection of beautiful guitar performances to our Instrument Series for Elastik. While the performances are jazz inspired, they would work in a range of downtempo musical styles. Full of character, feel, and soulful expression, these phrases will add a touch of musical class to any project.

Expressive Down Tempo Phrases

The library contains over 2.4 GB of samples, with nearly 240 unique phrases. Combining both Dry and Amp versions, nearly 480 loops are included. Each phrase is 8 bars or up to 32 seconds in length and the original recording tempos range from 60 to 98 BPM. The phrases are organized into folders with up to six full 8 bar phrases in each folder. It is therefore easy to combine them to build a full-length guitar part. In addition, with Elastik’s excellent time-stretching and pitch-shifting capabilities, the phrases can also be mixed and matched between folders, or have their tempo or pitch adjusted, to suit the needs of an existing musical project.

Easy To Build Guitar Performances

Each collection of phrases is presented in two forms. The Dry version provides all the loops without any added FX so the user has the maximum flexibility to add their own choice. The Amp version provides each of the phrase collections in one of three processed forms; Crunched, Delayed and Roomed. All of these have been recorded by micing an amp. The Crunched phrase sets have a hint of saturation added via the amp, while the Delayed and Roomed phrase sets have delay and reverb added respectively. All the Amp versions can therefore be used instantly within a mix, but the processing is kept light so that further effects can be added to taste.

Huge Range Of Musical Styles

Downtempo Guitar is the ideal basis for full arrangements in a downtempo, jazz-flavoured, style. However, the guitar lines would also work in other mellow musical contexts, including HipHop, LoFi, Lounge, RnB and Soul. Elastik Features

The Elastik player by Ueberschall is the ideal tool for music production using loops. High-quality algorithms for tempo, key and scale changes allow for easy implementation of loops into existing projects. A tag-based browser manages all installed libraries in an intuitive way, making it easy to find the perfect loop within seconds. Creative functions such as reverse, resample and a multimode filter offer creative options for sound design.
