Vintage Type-A Enhancement for Vocals
A-Class Vocal recreates the sound of a custom-modified vintage Type-A noise-reduction unit, used as an enhancement tool to add air and presence to recordings. By using the encoding stage without decoding the signal afterward, the effect combines tone shaping, harmonics and dynamics to create a distinctive high-frequency sheen. The DRIVE control adjusts the intensity, while MIX blends the effect with the original signal. MOD provides an alternative tonal character with richer harmonics and added cohesion. The plug-in can be used on vocals, guitars, drums, synths and the mix bus.
