Soviet Synthesizer on Steroids

Atomika is Cherry Audio's detailed emulation of the Polivoks synthesizer, produced at the Formanta Radio Factory from 1982 to 1990. Developed by award-winning DSP engineer Mark Barton, Atomika enhances the original Soviet synth with features like extended filter options, polyphony, an arpeggiator, and studio-quality effects.

Known for its iconic filter, the Polivoks used programmable op-amps for a unique, gritty sound. Atomika recreates this and expands it with new controls such as Starve and Filter Drive, plus new filter modes. It upgrades the original duophonic mode to 16-voice polyphony, adds unison oscillator stacking, expanded LFOs, and improved modulation options.

The second panel includes a flexible arpeggiator and four studio effects (Phasor, Flange/Chorus, Echo, and Reverb), with labels optionally in Cyrillic. With 350+ presets, extensive MIDI mapping, and a sleek UI, Atomika blends classic character with modern innovation.

• Loopable filter and amp ADSR envelopes effectively converts envelopes to LFOs for unique modulation waveshapes

• Arpeggiator with MIDI tempo sync with Up, Down, Up/Down, and Random
