The legendary Crumar DS-2 from 1978 is back – now as a plugin with modern upgrades. This hybrid of digital oscillators and analog signal processing delivers a raw, edgy sound that stands apart from classic analog and clean digital synths. Monophonic synth meets paraphonic poly section, creating unique textures, wild harmonics, and a distinctive “stair-stepped” character.

With expanded voices, Unison and Poly modes, flexible Split and Layer options, and deep modulation capabilities, the DS-2 brings the cult classic sound into the 21st century. Three LFOs, enhanced envelopes, a dynamic arpeggiator, and up to three independent effects chains with over 20 effects provide maximum sound design freedom. Over 300 presets offer instant inspiration – from gritty leads to lush vintage pads.
