A Versatile Bass for Every Session

Session Legend EBX for EZbass is based on a meticulously sampled four-string bass from the mid-1980s. With its classic P/J pickup configuration, the instrument combines a powerful low end with a pronounced midrange and clear definition. The result is a balanced and versatile sound that fits effortlessly into a wide variety of arrangements.

From providing a solid foundation in stripped-back mixes to delivering bass lines that cut through dense productions, Session Legend EBX covers a broad tonal spectrum. The bass was selected for its distinctive sound and proven qualities as a session instrument, making it equally suitable for classic and modern productions.

The instrument was sampled using both finger and pick playing styles, with palm mute and slap articulations also included. With a range spanning B0 to E4, the library offers plenty of flexibility for different playing styles and musical applications.

20 Mix-Ready Sounds

Session Legend EBX includes 20 mix-ready presets that showcase different sides of the instrument. The selection ranges from tight, bright and clean bass sounds to darker, muted and saturated tones.

The library also includes a selection of MIDI bass patterns specifically tailored to the instrument. These can be freely edited in EZbass and adapted to suit your own songs and arrangements.
