The Electric Grand EKX presents a meticulously sampled and highly detailed Yamaha CP-80, a revolutionary instrument that made its debut in the late 1970s as a more compact and electrified alternative to a regular acoustic grand piano. It quickly achieved the status of an indispensable classic, its distinctive sound immortalized by a wide variety of globally successful artists on countless hit productions in a wide range of genres. Although the instrument is now long out of production more than 30 years after its introduction, the CP-80's analog, semi-electrically amplified sound still plays a particularly influential role in modern music production. Combined with the available mixer presets for a wide variety of genres, the original crisp sound can be easily transformed into unexpected sound creations - a feature that makes the Electric Grand EKX all the more indispensable and particularly versatile instrument for any songwriter.

Please note: This EKX sound library extension for EZkeys 2 is a so-called "Legacy EKX", as it was originally recorded as a former EZkeys 1 sound library. A "Legacy EKX" can be loaded and used in both the previous version EZkeys 1 and the current version EZkeys 2, unlike the soundlibrary extensions produced exclusively for EZkeys 2. Users who still use EZkeys 1 exclusively and do not want to switch to EZkeys 2 can still easily extend their existing EZkeys 1 with "Legacy EKXs".

• The sounds of this EKX are already mix-ready. By selecting one of the included 10 presets, the sound can be perfectly inserted into any mix via a few parameters.

• The included mix presets offer complex FX processing by pre-configured combination of various effect modules from Overloud (EQ, compression, reverb, delay, modulation, distortion etc.)

• Outstanding dynamic response of the tones for the most authentic playing feeling

• Natural resonance of the resonating strings is reproduced by own real samples

• Download requires approx. 600 MB hard disk space
