True Legato Sampling
Emma Legato features the innovative “True Legato” technique, capturing not only individual notes but also the transitions between every note for highly realistic and expressive vocal performances. This comprehensive approach provides a vast range of samples for true musical expression.
The Vocalist: Emma Legato features the exceptional talent of Emma May Price, a classically trained soprano known for her previous work in Aria Vocalscapes.
Flexible Interface
The intuitive interface offers three articulations:
- Humming
- Poco Vibrato
- Aahs (with expressive vibrato)
The SPEED control allows you to adjust the transition speed between notes, whether for fast passages or lush, emotional lines. In AUTO mode, the speed adjusts automatically based on the distance between notes, ensuring a smooth, natural performance. The EXPRESSION slider provides pre-effect volume control for precise shaping of your sound.
Cinematic Reverb Options
Emma Legato includes two cinematic reverb signals for creating different atmospheres:
- BLUE: A shimmering, diffused ambience with a long tail
- PINK: A slowly modulated reverb with a granular-like texture
Curated snapshots are also available to help you quickly achieve highly usable sounds.

This product requires the free Native Instruments Kontakt Player, the latest version can be downloaded through Native Access, Native Instrument’s download manager!
