Analog Warmth, Tape Saturation, and Flexible Compression
Empirical Labs FATSO Tape Simulator combines musical tape saturation, harmonic coloration, and dynamic control in one versatile processor. Based on the renowned Empirical Labs FATSO hardware concept, the plug-in is suitable for drums, bass, vocals, instruments, buses, and complete mixes.
Two versions are included: FATSO Jr for the classic workflow and FATSO Sr with expanded compression and tone-shaping options. Four distinct compression modes – Buss, G.P., Tracking, and Spank – cover everything from gentle mix glue to aggressive limiting characteristics.
Saturation, Warmth, and Control
Input, Transformer, and Warmth controls make it easy to move from subtle analog coloration to dense, punchy distortion. The plug-in version also adds extended features such as sidechain filtering, variable transformer saturation, and deeper compression parameters.

This product requires an activation!
You can either "soft" activate on your computer without addditional hardware or transfer the license to an iLok USB dongle which has to be purchased separately. The iLok dongle can be used to run the protected software on different computers. Your licenses can be easily manged using the iLok Licence Manager. To protect your investment against theft or loss we recommend the iLok Zero Downtime protection with TLC.
An internet connection on any computer and a free user-accout at www.ilok.com is required to authorize the product.
Please check with the software manufacturer which iLok version is required at least if you want to use a hardware iLok!
