Primal Ethnic Orchestra is an orchestral-ethnic sample library built for dark fantasy worlds, Nordic mythology, and medieval-inspired scores. This is not about polish or perfection – it’s about character: raw, handmade, organic, and full of audible tension.

The library captures something untamed. Unsettling low drones, aggressive percussion, detuned strings, and unconventional acoustic instruments merge into a sound that feels ancient yet instantly playable. Everything is designed to create atmosphere, weight, and momentum fast – without friction.

Downtuned scordatura strings collide with rare world instruments, custom-built acoustic sound sources, and uncompromising percussion. Many performances are recorded right at the edge – you hear wood, metal, breath, and friction. That’s what makes the sound feel alive.

Aggressive scordatura strings: Detuned string ensembles and soloists with multiple articulations, dynamics, and round robins. Separately recorded first chairs let you shape anything from subtle grit to full-on rawness.

Rare & custom-built instruments: From the powerful Trollharpa to unique creations like Bell Guitar, Arrow Monochord, and Aeolian Fan Harp. Each instrument adds an instantly recognizable sonic character.

Playable rhythmic performances: Many instruments move beyond traditional sampling and are presented as fully playable rhythmic patches, including melodic and strummed patterns you can perform directly from the keyboard.

Expressive woodwinds & sparks: Bass flute, kaval, and didgeridoo with deep expression and instrument-specific techniques. Plus 25 atmospheric Sparks soundscapes for underscore, tension, and transitions.

Earth-shaking percussion, shouts & stomps: Fully produced rhythm ensembles, multisampled hits, and X3M-powered percussion for instant impact, reinforced with stomps, shouts, and vocal rhythms for a primal edge.

This product works with the free Native Instruments Kontakt Player, the latest version can be downloaded through Native Access, Native Instrument’s download manager!
