OK, Forest Kingdom remains a niche library, but this is top-quality sound design from someone who has obvious passion and real expertise in his field. Whether it's the upgrade from an earlier version, or a new purchase, if Forest Kingdom 3 is in your musical ballpark, you will not be disappointed. Take your hat off to Eduardo Tarilonte: he has taken the best of the best and made it even better.

Wie bei allen Sample-Libraries muss man bei aller Klangqualität entscheiden, ob man diese Art Klangfarben für seine Arbeit benötigt. Erste Zielgruppe dürften die Produzenten von Film-, Fernseh- und Werbemusik sein. Forest Kingdom 3 stellt die nötigen Tools zur Verfügung, einen Score in der Dschungel-/Wald-/Fantasy-Thematik auf die Beine zu stellen. Aber auch diejenigen, die sich um Klanginstallationen aller Art kümmern, könnten sich durch diese Tarilonte-Library inspirieren lassen.
Die Auswahl ist riesig, die Klangqualität ist enorm und der Preis ist mit 259 Euro absolut angemessen. Nutzer der Vorversionen können für 99 Euro upgraden.

Forest Kingdom 3 ist die erste Wahl, wenn ausdrucksstarke ethnische Instrumente sowie von der Natur inspirierte Klangwelten gefragt sind. Besonders die neuen Flöten lassen sich bemerkenswert ausdrucksvoll spielen. Aber auch die übrigen Instrumente wie die sehr dynamisch spielbaren Trommeln und Percussion-Instrumente überzeugen auf der ganzen Linie. Und die organischen Flächenklänge sind auch für Ambient, Downtempo, Chillout & Co. eine echte Bereicherung. Wer schnelle Inspiration sucht oder gar mit einer Deadline im Nacken komponiert, wird die 300 Multitrack-Performance-MIDI-Grooves schätzen.
