Transmuted Ceremonial Instruments from Mexico
Nagual is a reactive polyphonic instrument built from rare Pre Hispanic ceremonial sources. In collaboration with Ramiro Ramírez, one of Mexico's most revered masters of these traditions, clay flutes, conch trumpets, wooden drums, ocarinas, and ritual whistles were captured and transmuted into a living instrument where sources merge, morph, and respond to your touch in real time.
Recorded at 384 kHz 32 bit in Extended Resolution Audio, Nagual reveals hidden harmonic content beyond normal hearing. Inside MNDALA 2, authentic ceremonial recordings become responsive sound sculptures with up to 10 round robins, SSM powered sample maps, and multidimensional microphone blends. A polyphonic instrument born from ancient sources, shaped for intuitive expression, sound design, and transformative performance.
