Pentaphonic

A Rare 80s Synth Reimagined

Cherry Audio Pentaphonic brings the distinctive sound of the extremely rare 1981 Gleeman Pentaphonic into the DAW. Its combination of three DCOs per voice and an analog-inspired filter architecture delivers powerful, characterful synth sounds with unmistakable vintage flavor.

Going far beyond the original hardware, Pentaphonic expands the concept with up to 16 voices, unison, oscillator sync, pulse width modulation, two LFOs, and a flexible filter with 12 dB and 24 dB modes for a wide range of classic and modern synth sounds.

Sequencing, Modulation, and Effects

An advanced arpeggiator, polyphonic 16x4 step sequencer, and additional Parameter Animator make it easy to create rhythmic and constantly evolving sounds. A flexible effects section adds up to five simultaneous effects selected from 22 studio-quality processors.
