SH-MAX combines the best of three classic 1970s SH-series synthesizers: the SH-5, SH-7, and SH-3A, and goes far beyond a simple emulation. With bold sounds, flexible options, and an intuitive interface, SH-MAX brings the power of the SH series straight into your studio.
The software captures the iconic SH-5 character with dual oscillators, two LFOs, parallel filter sections, ring modulator, and sample & hold. It adds features from the SH-7 (autobend, duophony, filter FM, extended VCO waveforms) and the SH-3A’s additive-style oscillator. Expressive controls, a classic step sequencer, and three retro interface themes complete the package.
SH-MAX’s distinctive filters deliver everything from warm analog tones to aggressive leads that cut through the mix. Optional drift and slop add authentic analog character. The flexible mixer supports modular routing with up to four effect chains and 20 high-quality studio effects that can be freely combined.
Whether mono, duo, unison, or 16-voice polyphony, SH-MAX adapts to any production style. Over 300 presets provide ready-to-play sounds, while touch effects, polyphonic aftertouch, and a powerful step sequencer offer full expressive control.
