Analog Drum Machine from the 80s
SR-88 is a sample based plugin emulation of the Sound Master Memory Rhythm SR-88, a rare analog drum machine from the 80s. It captures the character and punch of the original hardware and brings it into a modern production environment without losing its unmistakable attitude.
The instrument offers five classic analog drum sounds Kick, Snare, Hi Hat 1, Hi Hat 2, and Cymbal. Each sound can be pitched, panned, and mixed independently, then further shaped using the Low Pass Filter with Zero Delay Feedback, plus Overdrive, Compressor, and Reverb. The built in sequencer makes pattern creation fast and intuitive, and finished patterns can be dragged and dropped directly into your DAW or host.
