AI-Powered MIDI Composition
Staccato Basic is an AI-powered MIDI Co-Writer for producers, composers, and songwriters looking to develop new musical ideas from simple text prompts. The software can be used as a standalone application or as a VST3, AU, or AAX plugin and generates fully editable MIDI data for existing production workflows. Create melodies, chord progressions, basslines, drum patterns, song sections, and arrangement ideas, then refine them using your favorite instruments and sounds.
The new instrument-aware AI model takes the plugins and instruments in your library into account and creates MIDI parts tailored to their playable range, articulations, and performance characteristics. Staccato also provides personalized sound design suggestions and recommends adjustments within the selected plugin.
Important: This version is intended exclusively for private, non-commercial projects and does not include Record/Upload functionality or commercial usage rights.
