Steinberg Classics brings together five early VST plug-ins from the beginnings of software-based music production. The collection includes Neon and CS-40 synthesizers, the VB-1 virtual bass instrument, the LM7 drum sample unit and the Karlette tape delay. Each plug-in reflects the technology and sound design approaches of its era, from subtractive synthesis and sampled drums to virtual bass and tempo-synced tape echoes.
