Studio Series - Vintage Piano is a sampled compact Japanese C2 acoustic piano recorded at The Record Co. in Boston. The library features chromatic sampling across the instrument's range, with 7 velocity layers for normal and sustain pedal playing, plus 7 layers of staccato samples with 4 round robins. An experimental repetitions patch captures the sound of hammers striking already-vibrating strings. Nine microphone positions offer different recording perspectives, with controls for mixing, routing, dynamics, releases, pedal noise, tuning and reverb. The instrument runs on the VISAGE 3.5 engine and includes the MIRAGE FX control panel.
