En 2002, la Vienna Symphonic Library redéfinissait les règles du jeu dans le domaine de la simulation orchestrale par la technologie du sampling, en établissant un vigoureux leadership tant sur le plan de la qualité des samples, que de la technologie. Le Performance Tool permettait de passer à la vitesse supérieure, en permettant au delà de la technologie classique de jeu de samples pré enregistrés un comportement dynamique avec de nombreux automatismes facilitant la vie des musiciens. Une nouvelle révolution est en route avec les VIENNA INSTRUMENTS, développés instrument par instrument, et dotés de comportements spécifiques, grâce à des algorithmes intelligents interprétant en temps réel le jeu du musicien et permettant au travers d’une interface génialement simple d’oublier la quantité astronomique de samples impliqués dans un phrasé mélodique. Il est enfin possible sur un seul canal MIDI et un seul preset d’avoir de nombreuses articulations que l’instrument virtuel devine en fonction de la ligne mélodique. Les “Performance Detection” reconnaissent automatiquement les intervalles, les répétitions, les Patterns et les Tempo du jeu et choisissent l’articulation correspondante en temps réel, comme si l’instrument virtuel pouvait lire dans les pensées. La composition n’a jamais été aussi intuitive, simple et rapide.

Vienna Symphonic Library products require you to register with the manufacturer at www.vsl.co.at and with www.ilok.com to activate your license.

You can either "soft" activate the software on your computer without addditional hardware or transfer the license to an iLok USB dongle which has to be purchased separately. The iLok dongle can be used to run the protected software on different computers. Your licenses can be easily manged using the iLok Licence Manager. To protect your investment against theft or loss we recommend the iLok Zero Downtime protection with TLC.
An internet connection on any computer and a free user-accout at www.ilok.com is required to authorize the product. In order to download and install your software products and sample libraries authorized via iLok, please use the Vienna Assistant.
Please check with the software manufacturer which iLok version is required at least if you want to use a hardware iLok!
