Dynamic Control Meets Classic Wavefolding
Things Fold is a versatile wavefolder plugin built for subtle coloration and extreme dynamic saturation alike. Inspired by the legendary Serge Wave Multipliers and their diode based circuit design, it combines wavefolding with an envelope follower, high pass and low pass filters, and adjustable feedback for deep sonic control.
Wavefolding reshapes a signal by folding it back onto itself instead of clipping it. The waveform is inverted into new peaks and valleys, generating complex harmonics from even the simplest sources. From gentle saturation and harmonic enhancement to aggressive distortion, Fold delivers a wide spectrum of creative sound design possibilities.
