Vari-Mu Compressor Based on the Fairchild 670
Tubechild 670 is a Vari-Mu tube compressor and limiter modeled after the Fairchild 670. The plug-in recreates the signal path of the original unit, including its tubes and transformers, to provide its characteristic compression and tonal response. Six timing curves offer different release characteristics, from subtle compression to severe limiting. Tubechild 670 can be used on individual instruments or mixes for level control, transient shaping, and cohesive compression.
