Vintage Guitar Loops is a veritable archive of vintage Funk, Soul, and R&B rhythm guitar loops inspired by actual 60s-70s records - including everything from classic ”chicken pickin'" licks to James Brown-style “chops”, wah-guitar licks, sexy double-stop Soul ballad flourishes, 70s Retro Funk guitar grooves, and much more. It’s like having a crate full of classic Funk and Soul guitar loops and licks at your fingertips - all royalty-free.

Vintage Guitar Loops contains over 1300 vintage guitar loops and licks (669 guitar loops and 618 guitar licks) - 1.6GB in uncompressed wav data - organized into the following categories:

• Vintage R&B - Inspired by classic R&B artists such as James Brown, Maceo Parker & the JBs, and the Average White Band

• Retro Funk - Inspired by classic Funk artists such as Earth Wind & Fire, Rufus, Kool & the Gang, Ohio Players, Brothers Johnson, War, Roy Ayers, and The Bar-Kays.

• Detroit Soul - Inspired by classic Motown artists like the Temptations (early period), the Four Tops, the Supremes, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, and Stevie Wonder (early Motown period).

• Memphis Soul - Inspired by classic Memphis R&B artists such as Booker T & the MGs, Aretha Franklin, Al Green, Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, The Staple Singers, Issac Hayes, The Dramatics, Rufus Thomas, and King Curtis.
