The Progressive Metal ADpak brings one of metal’s most expressive drummers, Waltteri Väyrynen (Opeth), directly into your studio productions. Recorded with his own Pearl Reference Pure drum kit, it delivers precise double-kick drums, dynamic toms for melodic movement, and rich, dark cymbals.

This kit was used by Waltteri on Opeth’s album “Last Will and Testament”, offering a proven, studio-ready sound trusted in professional productions.

The Pearl Reference Pure shells provide a focused low end with exceptional clarity for ghost notes and fast passages, while dual 22" bass drums deliver tight, powerful impact. Four toms and a hand-selected gong drum open up melodic possibilities across the entire kit, and the extensive Sabian cymbal selection adds depth – from dark shimmer to aggressive attack.

Every element of the kit was performed by Waltteri himself, capturing the dynamics and musical expressiveness that define his playing style.

Waltteri Väyrynen, drummer of Opeth, brings power, precision, and years of international touring and studio experience to Addictive Drums 2. He combines technical control with a distinctly heavy, musical approach, effortlessly moving between intricate progressive passages and full-on metal aggression. In addition to Opeth, Waltteri has performed with Paradise Lost, Abhorrence, Bodom After Midnight, and Bloodbath.
