EKX Cinematic Pads - A new kind of hybrid instrument, a uniquely diverse sound cosmos

The world of sound and tone and the creative forms of expression and possibilities therein are as strange as they are fascinating. As soon as we hear a new sound of an unknown instrument we immediately associate it with something familiar and try to classify it accordingly. Often we visualize and thereby find an unexpected source of new possibilities. This new EKX Soundlibrary extension for EZkeys 2 is designed to do just that.

The Cinematic Pads EKX is based on an acoustic vintage Grandpiano and an electronic GuitarViol, in addition to sounds from a wide variety of analog and modular synthesizers. Together, these very different sound sources in their combination result in a previously unheard and completely new hybrid instrument, which is characterized by a unique complex sound structure and with which one can easily and intuitively undertake journeys into undreamed-of audio landscapes. Sounds from the exciting border region between dream and reality, which invite you to creatively create new sound worlds.

Please note: This EKX sound library extension for EZkeys 2 is a so-called "Legacy EKX", as it was originally recorded as a former EZkeys 1 sound library. A "Legacy EKX" can be loaded and used in both the previous version EZkeys 1 and the current version EZkeys 2, unlike the soundlibrary extensions produced exclusively for EZkeys 2. Users who still use EZkeys 1 exclusively and do not want to switch to EZkeys 2 can still easily extend their existing EZkeys 1 with "Legacy EKXs".

• Outstanding dynamic response of the tones for the most authentic playing feeling
