Industrial Rock, Metal, Dark Electronic Music & Cinematic Sound Design

This EKX expansion for EZkeys 2 showcases the collision of absolute opposites within the audio spectrum in a comprehensive sound library. Covering the entire range from Industrial Rock and Metal to dark electronic music and cinematic sonic experiments, it combines sounds from a broad spectrum of electronic instruments and analog synthesizers, complemented by an acoustic piano and an organ. These components underwent tonal modulation, granular effects, distortion, compression, guitar amplification, and external outboard processing to create a dark, somber, and rugged texture. These manipulated instruments were then combined into previously unheard sound hybrids, offering a total of 82 presets across five categories: Keys, Pads, Leads & Basses, and Sound Textures. It's a unique collection of twisted, distorted, ethereal, pulsating, and ever-evolving sounds that encompass everything from earthy deep drones and basses to airy pads and penetrating leads.

In addition to sounds and presets, the expansion includes a MIDI library perfectly aligned harmonically and melodically with each preset category. By combining various sounds from this EKX expansion in multiple instances of EZkeys 2, each with its own MIDI layers, effortlessly intricate and diverse soundscapes with dark and complex qualities emerge.
