EKX Hybrid Harp - Five very different exotic instruments merge to create a unique sound design tool

Although the laws of thermodynamics have long ago put a fundamental stop to the dream of inventing a perpetual motion machine, the Hybrid Harp EKX comes quite close to this principle. The laws of physics remain intact and valid, of course, but this special and unique sound "machine" produces with its magic an unbroken and constant flow of new creative ideas. There are no limits to the sonic possibilities.

The Hybrid Harp EKX offers five special and very different instruments, which are modularly combined and layered to create unique and never before heard hybrid sound structures. The centerpiece of this sound-generating group is a Style 23 harp. Its concise sound is complemented with the traditional Swedish nyckelharpa ("keyed fiddle"), two different harmoniums, a glockenspiel vibrated with string bows, and a selection of different ocarinas. Combining the sounds of this rather strange-seeming group of instruments, which under normal circumstances have no sonic relationship, you get an impressive and fantastic-seeming sound universe of plucked, percussive, rubbing and airy nuances, all with a wonderful slightly dissonant character - sounds that have never existed in this form before and are incredibly inspiring for creative songwriting.

Please note: This EKX sound library extension for EZkeys 2 is a so-called "Legacy EKX", as it was originally recorded as a former EZkeys 1 sound library. A "Legacy EKX" can be loaded and used in both the previous version EZkeys 1 and the current version EZkeys 2, unlike the soundlibrary extensions produced exclusively for EZkeys 2. Users who still use EZkeys 1 exclusively and do not want to switch to EZkeys 2 can still easily extend their existing EZkeys 1 with "Legacy EKXs".
