Listen to your Elders! The Kobyz A.K.A. "***" is one of the most dynamic and versatile VST products I own. It is a completely unique string instrument, in the bevy that is the string instrument market. *** has a unique timbre, texture, glide and register. If I could put a sound to the words "Medieval Beauty" it would come from the Kobyz. Breathtaking *** in both Bowed and Portamento make this the ideal companion for anyone looking to score to **, genre or design. I mention that last piece because not only does *** sound incredible, it also boasts a truly dynamic timbre that lets you create so much more than just string movements. *** delivers 2 independent microphone setups for cross multiplying sounds and effects textures. Wavelet Audio has also delivered a huge cache of onboard effects that "WORK" with instrument rather than just being standard effect chains. You can score a whole piece with, *** carrying your traditional string arrangements, point and counter point, percussion, atmospheres, transitions and with the new rhythm engine, even the motion of your sonic idea. It's 100% worth the regular retail price but on sale it's too good to pass up. As a person who buys toolkits because of their value add in instruments and content this is one instrument I would buy again and again because of how versatile both the physical and Virtual instrument are. I really don't know what else to say other than it is a GREAT product and delivers sound that will have you standing out. Seriously ask someone if they know what a Kobyz is. They won't know and that the secret of this "sauce".
