RUNA II: Cinematic Articulations continues the concept of RUNA: Elder Scoring Strings, combining playable string articulations, live-recorded phrases and atmospheric textures in a flexible Kontakt instrument. The library works completely standalone, while its sound has been carefully balanced to blend naturally with the first RUNA release.
Nine cinematic articulations form the foundation for expressive, moving and often unconventional string performances. They are complemented by hundreds of live-recorded phrases mapped across four octaves with six variations per key, plus three loop patches for rhythmic textures and evolving atmospheres.
386 snapshots provide instantly playable starting points, while flexible microphone controls, a gate sequencer and an extensive FX rack allow the original recordings to be transformed far beyond their natural character. From organic close-up strings to saturated, distorted and experimental sound-design textures, RUNA II can adapt to a wide range of productions.
