Handy Drums Metal Standard beinhaltet akribisch gesampelte Metal-Drums. Das enthaltene eigenständige Plugin verfügt über einen integrierten Sampler (keine Sampler von Drittanbietern erforderlich). Die Drums sind "album ready", im Heavy Metal Genre vorgemischt und verfügen über bis zu 9 Dynamikstufen und 10 Round-robins (Samples pro Dynamikstufe).

Ausgestattet mit einer übersichtlichen, einfachen und intuitiven Benutzeroberfläche, die wichtige Funktionen wie Lautstärkeregelung einzelner Komponenten, Drum-Mapping, Routing, Audition-Buttons, MIDI- und Treibereinstellungen sowie einen CC4-Kurveneditor für E-Drummer bietet. Wuchtige und aggressiv klingende Drums mit viel Attack, die speziell für den Einsatz in Metal und ähnlichen Musikstilen entwickelt wurden. Ein Muss für jeden Track, in dem eine schnelle Double-Kick unerlässlich ist.

Die Kick ist bissig mit viel "Klick"-Attack, um mit knallenden Gitarrenriffs zu harmonieren. Die Snare ist fett und explosiv; alles natürlich im Aufnahmeraum erzielt. Die Toms haben einen schnellen Attack, der sogar noch härter gespielt wird, um die volle Energie einzufangen und sie in das gesampelte Instrument zu übertragen.

• Multiple Dynamic Levels - Each drum and cymbal was sampled at multiple dynamic levels to ensure the instrument’s fullest dynamic range is coming through when played back. Handy Drums Metal Standard contains up to 9 dynamic levels per instrument.

• Round Robin - Up to 10 samples per dynamic level - Every drum stroke played by a real drummer is ever so slightly different from the previous one, no matter how good the drummer is. This is part of what gives it that “human” feel and is why our ears can instantly hear the difference between a roll played by a real drummer and the same sample being triggered over again. To make the Metal Standard sound more like a real drummer, each drum and cymbal has been sampled numerous times at every dynamic level. No sample is repeated sequentially during playback, but a different one is triggered.

• 24bit Sample Depth - All Handy Drums were sampled as 24bit wav files for the best resolution and sound quality.
