Mercury-6 ist eine akribische Reproduktion des analogen Synthesizers Jupiter-6. Der fortschrittliche Jupiter-6, der nur dem Namen nach zwischen den älteren Modellen Jupiter-4 und Jupiter-8 angesiedelt ist, wurde als "Sleeper Release" bezeichnet.
