Miniverse ist eine sorgfältige virtuelle Emulation des Urvaters aller portablen Synthesizer, des legendären Minimoog Model D. Kein anderes Instrument, das 1971 auf den Markt kam, wird mehr mit dem Wort "Synthesizer" in Verbindung gebracht als der ikonische Minimoog - er ist vielleicht der bekannteste und beliebteste analoge Synthesizer, der je hergestellt wurde. Obwohl sein Innenleben nicht mit den massiven modularen Synthesizern von Moog identisch war, hatte er den satten, kernigen, "fetten" Analogsound, der auch 50 Jahre später noch unangefochten ist! Er setzte den Standard für künftige Synthesizer, inspirierte ganz neue Musikgenres und prägte den Sound von so unterschiedlichen Künstlern wie Kraftwerk, Herbie Hancock, Rick Wakeman, Pink Floyd, Parliament, Gary Numan und unzähligen anderen.
