Arguments is a unique vintage-style test equipment plugin that combines tone generation with dual audio processing. It merges two signals using math inspired by analog nuclear research processors, producing results that are dynamic, unpredictable, and always one-of-a-kind. Each module of Arguments can run independently, making it equally powerful as a complex distortion unit, multimode filter, or sonically rich test tone generator. The included presets are just a starting point, inviting you to explore and manipulate sounds beyond conventional limits.

At its core, Arguments is an analog computing-inspired combiner and integrator, retuned for musical use. By taking two signals—A and B, where B can come from an external source or the internal generator—the plugin applies the argument block and processes the result through a function block. This produces tones ranging from simple boosts and high-passed industrial grit to rhythmic modulations and raw textures. A multi-mode filter stage allows precise shaping and modulation, while analog modeling at every stage ensures the sound retains the character of the rare vintage units that inspired it. With side-chain operation, LFO shaping, and oversampling for texture control, Arguments encourages experimentation and rewards the curious ear.
