Handy Drums Retro Custom ist ein preisgekröntes virtuelles Drum-Instrument für die Musikproduktion. Die sorgfältig gesampelten Retro Drums sind einfach zu bedienen, erschwinglich und großartig. Das Plugin verfügt über einen integrierten Sampler (keine Sampler von Drittanbietern erforderlich). Die enthaltenen Drums sind "albumtauglich", im 70er-Jahre-Retro-Stil vorgemischt und werden mit bis zu 10 Dynamikstufen und 12 Round-Robins (Samples pro Dynamikstufe) bereitgestellt.

Ausgestattet mit einer übersichtlichen, einfachen und intuitiven Benutzeroberfläche, die wichtige Funktionen wie Lautstärkeregelung einzelner Komponenten, Drum-Mapping, Routing, Audition-Buttons, MIDI- und Treibereinstellungen sowie einen CC4-Kurveneditor für E-Drummer bietet. Der Retro Custom Drumset-Sound ist trocken, warm, druckvoll, tief mit kurzem Sustain und trockener Raumatmosphäre.

Die Toms sind klar definiert, ohne Klingeln oder Obertöne. In der Mitte des Kits befindet sich eine ultratiefe 10"-Snare Drum aus maßgefertigtem Ahorn, die trocken und tief klingt. Die 18-Zoll-Kick sorgt für Punch und Wärme in den tiefen Frequenzen. Die Toms haben alle ein einzelnes Fell und sind mit Nylons beklebt, um den bekannten, kissenartigen Sound zu erzeugen, der in den 70er Jahren berühmt wurde. Dieses maßgefertigte, einzigartige Buche-Drumset wurde im Retro-Stil gesampelt, damit Ihre Beats warm und gemütlich klingen. Diese Art von Schlagzeugsound wurde bei zahllosen Hits von gestern (Earth, Wind & Fire, Fleetwood Mac, Bill Withers, etc.) sowie bei zeitgenössischen Hits von Künstlern wie John Mayer verwendet.

• Multiple Dynamic Levels - Each drum and cymbal was sampled at multiple dynamic levels to ensure the instrument’s fullest dynamic range is coming through when played back. Handy Drums Vintage Ludwig contains up to 10 dynamic levels.

• Round Robin - Up to 12 samples per dynamic level - When a drummer strikes a drum, each subsequential stroke is ever so slightly different from the one preceding, no matter how consistently they are played. That’s why our ear can instantly tell the difference between a roll played by a real drummer and a single sample being looped. Each drum and cymbal has been sampled numerous times at every dynamic level. During a playback, no sample is repeated sequentially, but a different sample is triggered.

• 24bit Sample Depth - All Handy Drums were sampled as 24bit wav files for the best resolution and sound quality.
