Das GForce M-Tron MkII ist eine Hommage an die äußerst seltenen und begehrten originalen Dual-Manual 'Trons', nämlich das Mellotron® MkI/MkII und den Chamberlin® Musicmaster.

Ursprünglich als ultimative Home-Entertainment-Konsole konzipiert, war das 1963 in Großbritannien hergestellte MkI/MkII ein duales tonbandbasiertes Instrument, bei dem das linke Manual mit 35 Noten eine Kombination aus 18 Rhythmen und Begleitungen (66 beim GForce M-Tron MkII *) und das rechte Manual (ebenfalls 35 Noten) 18 Lead-Sounds (66 beim M-Tron MkII *) wiedergab.
