Der OB-E bietet ein einzigartiges musikalisches Erlebnis und ist mehr als nur eine Emulation. OB-E ist eine Weiterentwicklung des legendären 8-Voice (auch bekannt als EVS) auf Basis des Synthesizer-Expander-Moduls und bietet eine Reihe von Verbesserungen und Ergänzungen.

Das Konzept des 8-Voice ist im Grunde sehr einfach: Es basiert auf einem einzigen Modul, das zwei VCOs mit Puls- und Sägezahn-Wellenformen, zwei ADS-Hüllkurvengeneratoren, einen LFO und einen magischen Multi-Mode-Filter enthält. Isoliert betrachtet ist jedes Modul monophon, aber im 8-Voice haben Sie aufgrund der acht Module, die von einer polyphonen Tastatur getriggert werden, einen großartigen polyphonen Synthesizer mit acht Noten.
