Zurück ins Jahr 1975...

Eine luxuriöse Maschine für die musikalische Elite erblickt das Licht der Welt. Durch den Einsatz von Bauteilen, die für die NASA entwickelt wurden, entstand ein revolutionäres Instrument, das zu dieser Zeit unerreicht war. Es startete als fantastischer FM-Synthesizer und entwickelte sich später durch Erweiterungspacks zu einer umfassenden Workstation. Sein Erscheinen in professionellen Studios inspirierte tonangebende Avantgarde-Künstler und Klangvisionäre wie Frank Zappa, Chick Corea, Michael Jackson, Sting, Kraftwerk, Stevie Wonder und Depeche Mode.

Erneut haben wir uns von den Klängen vergangener Jahre inspirieren lassen und unser eigenes „Beast“ erschaffen. Das Ergebnis ist eine umfassende Software Suite mit 3 sich ergänzenden, digitalen Instrumenten – alle vollausgestattet mit einer gigantischen Sammlung an originalen Sounds und klassischen Presets. Wir haben auf unsere bewährte Kombination aus fortschrittlicher Programmierung und akribischem Sampling gesetzt und das beste analoge und digitale Equipment verwendet, um den geschätzten Vintage-Charakter dieser Workstation einer neuen Musiker- und Klangforschergeneration zur Verfügung zu stellen. Das Ergebnis ist ein komplett neues, leistungsstarkes und intuitives Luxusinstrument, das wir Ihnen voller Stolz präsentieren möchten – The Beast.

The Beast - Beast FMII

An FM and additive synthesis monster: As a result of our combination of deep multi-sampling and integrated true FM synthesis module, this instrument offers a unique approach to reproducing these vintage sounds, allowing for subtle to extreme variation.

 The Beast - Beast Terminal

With careful attention to historical details, the presets and sonic character of Beast Terminal traverse a wide territory. Ranging from acoustic to electric, they encompass the full sonic spectrum: from lush strings to strikingly bright brass timbres and beyond.

 The Beast - Beast Box 

Combining the best FM-synthesized percussion sounds with recordings of the deepest drum hits and percussion samples, Beast Box is a massive drum machine with an extensive library of over 1200 sounds.

HOW TO USE THE BEAST?

The UVI libraries are dedicated to be used with the brand new UVI WORKSTATION and the MOTU MachFive 3 sampler. UVI WORKSTATION is a multi-timbral software instrument that provides unlimited parts, integrated effects, live performance feature, and a smooth real-time workflow. It operates as a MAC | PC stand alone application, as well as a virtual instrument software plug-in, compatible with Mac OS X and Windows for all major hosts sequencers.

The UVI WORKSTATION is for free download. It features a tutorial sound pack, so you can try this software workstation out, without any limit on your own system.
