CineBrass Horns of the Deep ist eine Erweiterung der CineBrass-Familie, die ebenfalls in den MGM-Studios aufgenommen wurde. CineBrass Horns of the Deep besteht aus 3 Tubas und 3 Euphonien, die unisono gespielt werden. Es ist eine einfache, warm klingende Low-Brass-Library. Sie kann eine sanfte, sonore Alternative zu Waldhörnern sein sowie Wärme und Tiefe im Zusammenspiel mit der Posaunensektion bieten.

CineBrass Horns of the Deep is 3 Tubas and 3 Euphonium performing in unison. The UI features the familiar CineSymphony mixer, microphone positions, EQ, panning, and reverb. The 2 green key switches are for doubled and tripled staccato notes as seen in other CineSymphony libraries. 

The Mapping Tab allows full customisation of the articulations.  By default, the sustain pedal plays monophonic legato transitions. The mod wheel adjusts the dynamics. Without the sustain pedal, velocity controls the dynamics of staccato samples. Also by default, the ACCENT OVERLAY is on to provide an accent to the beginning of legato passages. ACCENTED LEGATO is also on to provide an accent on all subsequent notes within a legato passage. In this case, the velocity threshold that must be met is 100. You may turn these features off and adjust the overlay volume.  

The Settings Tab provides LEGATO and DYNAMICS control. Here you may turn off legato for chordal playing.  

Recording Position

The Tubas and Euphonium performed just to the right of the typical placement of the French Horn platform, still left of center. This position allows for a nice stereo pairing with the Trombone section that typically sits to the right.

Requires a minimum of 4 GB free hard drive space during installation. Library size is approx. 2 GB after installation
