This project aimed to create a vintage-inspired drum machine, blending classic charm with 21st-century sampling techniques. Through the incorporation of features like round-robin samples, multi-channel sounds, and generative sequencers, the focus was on achieving a distinctive drum character characterized - by a robust, dry, and tight sound with a lively chatter. The design successfully captured the essence of old-school aesthetics while embracing the versatility of modern production methods.

The samples for AC-DR were crafted using inventive recording methods, including the utilization of robot triggers to achieve precise multichannel layering.
