Bamblong

Bamblong - that wooden sound of Asia

The Bamblong is a small bamboo idiophone from Southeast Asia, similar to a marimba or angklung. It features a series of tuned bamboo logs, each with a resonance chamber and sound holes. A thin bamboo plank is suspended over each log, and the instrument is played with rubber bicycle tire mallets, producing a smooth, mellow sound with a quick decay. Soundiron recorded it in both dry and wet environments, capturing its rich, clear tones in a close setting for flexibility and in a large hall for a bright, organic sound. The instrument was extensively sampled, with dynamic layers, round-robin variations, and unique strikes using nylon brushes.

This library is designed for the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt 6.2.2 or later.

Please notice: This library can not be used with the free Kontakt Player! To use this "Open Kontakt" format, you need a full version of Kontakt, which is included in products such as Komplete or Komplete Ultimate.
