For one and a half years of continuous creation of Cabal 8, Wavelet Audio have implemented many features that allow you to use the guitar flexibly as never before. This instrument is convenient for writing extremely detailed MIDI parts, as well as for quick sketches in real time. Cabal 8 enables you to create powerful and natural eight-string guitar parts that imitate actual guitar playing! This guitar is suitable for work in various styles. Don’t limit yourself with only hard music genres.

Cabal 8 includes Clean DI guitar and two libraries from Cabal 8: Elements series (Hi-Gain & Crunch):

• The Clean DI is a dry guitar signal; carefully edited and ready for processing. Run it through your plugins to get the original and powerful sound.

• Two libraries from Cabal 8: Elements (Hi-Gain & Crunch) - fully released, distorted and crunch guitars to start the process quickly and easily right from scratch. It is Ksay Mentor’s ready-to-use signature sounds with his effect chains. These samples allow you to get the desired result without using third-party tools or plugins.

In addition to impeccable sound quality, Wavelet Audio focused on sample editing in exquisite detail - every sample was cut and edited by hand. They recorded every single string, a whole fretboard; from open string to 24th fret. This is the most thoroughly and comprehensive recorded 8-string guitar ever sampled. As musicians, they found great inspiration in working on unique and massive guitar tone. As engineers, they did tons of work preparing the instrument to get this spectacular result.

Cabal 8 has an easy-to-use intuitive and highly advanced engine that essentially gives you the flexibility to control the instrument in real-time. The engine gives you more realistic performances than ever and emulates how a real guitarist plays a part.

Strings

You can disable certain strings from the instrument. Cabal 8 will automatically reallocate the load to the remaining strings, ensuring optimal performance and flexibility.

Smart Tuning

Tune each of the strings. Customize your instrument to any desired guitar tuning, allowing for a tailored and unique playing experience.

Keyswitch Mode

Keyswitch Mode lets you flexibly adjust the string selection for each note using velocity. This mode provides dynamic control over string selection, enhancing expressiveness and precision in your playing.

Portamento Slide

Unique algorithm for portamento slide. Control all aspects of portamento: speed, starting and ending positions, and the inclusion of specific noises, for a truly customized sliding effect.

Equalization

Equalize the entire instrument or focus on a specific articulation of an individually selected string, giving you precise control over your sound.

Routing

Configure articulations routing map, sending them to certain buses. This allows for advanced routing options, ensuring that your articulations are directed to the desired output channels for optimal sound management.

Requires Kontakt FULL 5.7.3 or higher. 8,6 GB of hard drive space (15,9 GB of original sample material).

Please notice: This library can not be used with the free Kontakt Player! To use this "Open Kontakt" format, you need a full version of Kontakt, which is included in products such as Komplete or Komplete Ultimate.
