Cubase Artist 16 provides a versatile production environment for musicians and producers who need comprehensive tools for recording, composing, editing and mixing. Its MIDI and audio workflows support a wide range of production styles, from electronic music and songwriting to band recordings. The Key Editor, Chord Track and Scale Assistant help develop musical ideas, while the included instruments, effects and sound libraries provide resources for creating and shaping tracks. Version 16 introduces Instrument Stacks for combining multiple instruments on a single playable track, along with the DrumChain multi-effects processor and the Module FM library for HALion Sonic. New Key Editor functions make programmed chords more expressive and allow MIDI passages to be stretched to fit an arrangement.
