Echo Cube is a dual acoustic delay plugin inspired by the Cooper Time Cube. It recreates mechanical tube based delay with two independent delay lines, three models, and flexible routing for stereo shaping, doubling, and spatial enhancement.
Echo Cube Dual Acoustic Delay
Echo Cube is a dual delay plugin inspired by the rare Cooper Time Cube, a mechanical delay system that created echo by sending sound through long coiled tubes filled with air. Instead of tape or electronic circuits, delay time was defined by the physical travel of sound, resulting in short, characterful echoes with natural filtering and subtle phase interaction.
This concept is faithfully recreated and expanded with two independent delay lines, A and B, each with dedicated time, feedback, and level controls. Three models are available. Time Cube captures the original hardware. Garden Hose and Corrugated explore alternative acoustic paths for sound design. Multiple routing modes allow detailed control over stereo image, depth, and delay interaction.
