With story-driven songs, semi-acoustic instrumentation and a stripped-back, unpolished and earthy feel, roots rock became a stylistic counterweight to the otherwise glossy ’80s aesthetic. At the forefront, artists like Neil Young, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen took this back-to-basics sound to the masses, conquering arenas and airwaves around the world.
In this MIDI pack for EZkeys, we travel back to that era to bring you a collection rooted in its sound but designed to go way beyond.
