FANTASY VOCAL PHRASES is a phrase instrument for composers in games, TV, and film who want organic, emotional detail in their fantasy scores. Unlike libraries offering sustained vowels or static samples, these are full vocal phrases in an improvised fantasy language between real speech and pure vocalisation.

All vocals were recorded by professional singer Katharina Wirtz with credits on major fantasy game soundtracks. Recordings span a long development period ensuring musical consistency and expressive depth. Delivered as produced vocals with options to reduce processing and apply your own effects.

This is the first time this voice is available as a scoring instrument outside of a game production.

Katharina Wirtz - the artist behind Fantasy Vocal Phrases

Katharina Wirtz is a German singer and flutist with extensive game music credits. Classically trained and a soloist with orchestras, she later focused on singing, touring, and session work. Since 2018 she has contributed to major franchises including The Elder Scrolls Online High Isle, Anno 117 Pax Romana, and Frosthaven Board Game.

Match phrases to any key, combine beginnings and endings, or repitch in your DAW for maximum authenticity. Phrases behave like a real singer performing lines, not a keyboard imitating one.

The instrument includes a deep phrase builder and an FX page for full EQ control. The UI makes phrase selection intuitive.
