Conn Electro Organ Samples

The Conn Prelude 311 organ's tonal legacy is honored by FATTY 311. C.G. Conn Ltd., also known as Conn Instruments or just Conn, was a 1915 incorporation of an American business. Brass instruments made in Elkhart, Indiana, were the mainstay of its early economy. The electric organ was its top seller in the 1950s. Conn filed for bankruptcy between 1950 and 1970, and Steinway eventually acquired the company in 2000.

After serving in the U.S. Army during the Civil War, Charles G. Conn opened a grocery store and bakery in Elkhart, Indiana. Additionally, he played cornet in the neighborhood band. Conn began by creating cornet mouthpieces, and by 1905, he had built the biggest factory for musical instruments in the world, producing a full range of wind instruments, strings, percussion, and a portable organ.

A true spring reverb unit, two 44-key keyboards, a Min-O-Matic rhythm machine, and a ton of emulations of clarinet, trombone, violin, guitar tremolo, and other instruments are all features of the wonderful Prelude by Soundiron. The guitar's traditional wooden body harkens back to the fashionable aesthetics of the 1970s, and its robust, warm analog tone can pierce through any background music. To bring your midi to life, Soundiron captured the best sustains, staccatos, and effects in three different microphone positions. Vibrato and a unique "Octave" knob, which spices up your tone by smoothly gliding in lower and higher octaves, are both simple to use. To make this library really enjoyable and adaptable, they've also included a ton of unique FX patches and ambient synth pads made from the source. Whether you're looking to recreate an old video game sound, huge synth bass tone or play straight from the hymnal, Fatty 311 can get you there!
