GAMELAN is a massive cinematic sound library featuring over 1,700 instruments and 14 GB of content, built from deeply sampled Balinese gamelan instruments. Through intensive morphing, layering, and sound design, it delivers a unique sonic palette of atmospheric textures, percussive impacts, melodic elements, and complex loops – ideal for film, trailer, and modern sound design.

The library combines traditional recordings with a modern sound engine, allowing you to freely mix, transform, and reshape sounds. From subtle atmospheres to massive hybrid impacts, GAMELAN offers an exceptionally wide creative range.

Workflow & Sound Engine

At the core is a powerful multi-core engine that allows up to 4 sound cores to run simultaneously – enabling up to 8 sound sources layered at once. Each core includes extensive effects and modulation options for deep sound shaping and animation.

The system is further enhanced with advanced tools such as step sequencing, XY mixing, 3D sound positioning, and intelligent randomization, constantly generating new and inspiring sonic variations.

Requires Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher (full version required).

Please notice: This library can not be used with the free Kontakt Player! To use this "Open Kontakt" format, you need a full version of Kontakt, which is included in products such as Komplete or Komplete Ultimate.
