Innovative HCM Synthesis Engine

Gladiator 4 is a powerful synthesizer built on the award winning HCM synthesis engine, combining harmonic content morphing with a wide range of synthesis methods for deep and flexible sound design. It delivers everything from rich analog style tones to complex evolving digital textures through dynamic spectral morphing and modular control.

The v4.2 update is included for all Gladiator 4 users. It extends the synthesis core with additive structures in Unison Mode and Phase Mod Spectrum, alongside a major expansion of sound quality, effects processing and system precision.

Additional Unison additive modes introduce Additive Partials and Additive Bell, each stacking four disharmonic oscillators with Spread control. Phase Mod Spectrum gains advanced detuning and chaos models including Tune Partials Plus, Tune Partials Minus, Splash Tune, Fluppy Tune and Crackles, all shaped by morph speed for precise or extreme spectral motion.

Sound quality is elevated with a Ultra High End mode using double precision and 4x oversampling, improved FFT resampling accuracy, redesigned reverb algorithms, lower CPU bypass thresholds for smoother tails, refined Silky Chords microtuning, and upgraded 64 bit psychoacoustic and EQ processing. Additional refinements include faster graphics performance, improved control layout precision and a patch browser fix for stable parameter handling.
