Chordophones is a fascinating collection of 10 experimental stringed instruments from the mind of master instrument inventor Bart Hopkin. Soundiron have included all of their unique Hopkin strings released so far, plus a brand new instrument exclusive to this product: The Stroked Zither. Made of wood and steel, bass strings, styrofoam, water, and rubber, each custom creation has its own organic tonal flavor, multiple microphone positions, and hundreds of ambient soundscapes created from the source content.

Alt Alt, Aquaalt, Handsome Dan, Icicles & Pop Ice, Squiggly-Amejewar, Stroked Zither, Weighted Strings, and 2+2+1 each have custom sonic character, perfect for blending together or doubling a melody. Chordophones includes everything you need to compose your best work ever, with an efficient modular 4-layer GUI and over 150 custom FX presets for instant inspiration.
