Prime Design is a cinematic atmosphere library for Kontakt that captures the sense of intentional creation -light from darkness, form from void, peace from stillness. Built on carefully sculpted sound sources and designed for immersive storytelling, it offers glowing ambiences, choral waves, gentle pulses, and tonal elements that feel alive yet structured. Each patch supports scenes of revelation, beginnings, reflection, and beauty with emotional and thematic clarity.

With four fully blendable layers and real-time XY control, Prime Design allows shaping evolving textures that express a wide emotional range in both major and minor tonalities. The intuitive reverse patch and per-layer step volume let composers sculpt rhythmic pulses and evolving dynamics while playing one note at a time to unlock rich chordal textures, providing a powerful foundation for cinematic scoring, ambient music, and narrative sound design.

• Many sound sources include inherent major or minor chordal content, making it generally advisable to play single notes

• Some patches allow chord playing as exceptions

• Patches can respond to playing velocity for dynamic shifts between major and minor moods

• XY pad for crossfading between layers

• Individual volume control per layer

• Sound selection per layer

• Mute and solo buttons for each layer

• Waveform display

• Per-layer controls for pan, pitch, attack, release, low-pass filter, high-pass filter, sample start, dirt effects including saturation, compression, and distortion

• Per-layer delay and convolution reverb with over 150 impulse responses

• Master controls for portamento and randomization

• Separate output option available for each of the four layers

Requires full retail verison of NI Kontakt 5.8.1.

Please notice: This library can not be used with the free Kontakt Player! To use this "Open Kontakt" format, you need a full version of Kontakt, which is included in products such as Komplete or Komplete Ultimate.
