Sounds and Synthesis

Nemesis is a powerful synthesizer with a vast sound library created by professional designers. It offers a unique silky signature sound, capable of producing a wide range of tones from warm and smooth to classic metallic FM synthesis sounds.

Nemesis supports numerous digital synthesis methods, including Neo-FM, true FM synthesis, phase modulation, waveshaping, additive synthesis, phase-distortion, formant synthesis, crossblending waveforms, PWM, ring modulation, waveform resynthesis, and resonance. Users can also import their own content, providing endless sonic possibilities.

It features multiple play modes, including polyphonic, mono, legato, and true 4x stereo unison.

Nemesis achieves refined sonic stability across different DAW sample rates. At 44 kHz and 22 kHz, aliasing is significantly reduced by up to 12 dB, while at 88 kHz and 176 kHz aliasing is reduced by up to 20 dB, resulting in a cleaner harmonic structure and improved clarity in complex patches.

Chords benefit from improved coherence when using “Fat 1” or “very clean” microtuning modes.

Effects

There are 48 high-quality effects available that can be combined with each other. Flexible routing options complete the extensive effects section.

The innovative ducking module makes mixes more transparent and rich by dynamically fading out reverb tails. Nemesis offers smart microtuning, which automatically analyzes the notes played to improve chord behaviour.

An optional psychoacoustic module gives tracks more impact and perceived loudness. The gate section allows the creation of rhythmic patterns, while contour, fading, swing and shuffle provide detailed timing control.

Reverb processing has been refined across all algorithms:

• Reverb Ultra features improved default parameters, smoother rolloff, less phasing, and more depth
• Reverb Big offers increased detail, depth, and smoother frequency behaviour
• Reverb Infinity delivers a more transparent spatial image with reduced phasing

Arpeggiator

The arpeggiator in Nemesis is inspiring, powerful and easy to use. It supports note sequencing, direction control, auto-chords, polyphonic playback, glides, swing and matrix integration.

Modulation

By using drag & drop or the matrix, Nemesis allows you to connect dozens of modulation sources to sound parameters. Modulation can reach audio-rate speeds and can be applied to a wide variety of internal sources such as LFOs and MIDI messages.

MIDI learn is included, making assignment of controllers straightforward and fast.

Interface and Workflow

Soundsets are visually highlighted in the patch browser for faster navigation. Template patches are clearly separated from regular patches through distinct color coding.

Better init patch parameters improve starting points for sound design workflows.

The installer has been optimized to streamline setup, with VST3 installed by default using standard configuration settings.

Enhanced Graphics

The interface skin has been reworked with refined background rendering. Displays and diodes feature subtle color bleeding for a more organic visual response.

The keyboard design includes softer shadows for improved depth perception, while overall visual noise and graphical glitches have been reduced.
