Royal Compressor XT

Vintage-style compression with flexible routing

Royal Compressor XT is a vari-mu compressor plug-in inspired by classic British analogue hardware. It combines smooth compression with adjustable valve saturation for processing vocals, bass, guitars, drums and buses. Three circuit models offer different attack characteristics, while automatic gain control maintains a consistent output level as input gain and saturation change.

The two independent compressor channels can operate in Left/Right, Mid/Side or Low/High mode. This allows separate processing of stereo channels, the centre and sides of a mix, or low and high frequencies using an adjustable crossover. Each channel provides dedicated controls for input, recovery, saturation, output level and dry/wet balance.
